Programme Information

There is no direct credit conversion between UK and Mexican universities. Students typically enrol in up to 6 courses per semester, which usually amounts to around 30 ECTS. Each course is generally worth 6 UP credits. 

 

Academic Requirements

Courses from different programs, semesters and languages can be chosen. A combination of English and Spanish taught courses can be taken simultaneously. Credits listed for each course are in UP credits. Courses from different faculties can be taken as long as there are no prerequisites. Complimentary Spanish language courses are available at all levels for exchange students.

 

Language Requirements

B2 Spanish is required for courses taught in Spanish. B2 English is required for courses taught in English.

Accommodation

Universidad Panamericana does not offer on-campus housing, but they provide a list of accommodation options every semester to assist students in finding suitable place to stay. These options include host families, student housing or shared apartments. More information on housing is available on the website.

Other Information

Students must have international health insurance which must include:

  • Repatriation of remains in the event of death.
  • Medical benefits of at least USD $100,000 per accident.
  • Medical expenses co-payment of no more than 25%.
  • Medical assistance for COVID-19 included in medical expenses per illness.
