Applicants should be nominated by DU. Students must have completed at least one year of university work prior to participation in the exchange. Individual applications will not be processed.
Students can take part in both academic or language programs as below:
Regular Academic Programs at NTNU: including undergraduate and graduate courses in all subjects (Please note that some courses with special requirements are upon lecturer’s permission).
Chinese Language Courses: exchange students are welcome to take Mandarin classes offered by the Department of Chinese as a second Language.

Some classes are taught in English, however applicants require command of Mandarin for non-English modules.
The student health center, student guidance center and advisors are available to support students physiologically, psychologically and professionally. More infomation on contacts and services can be found in the student handbook. Further information can be found on the campus life page.
Availability of on-campus accommodation is limited, applicants are advised to consider off-campus private letting. Information on off-campus accommodation can be found in the student handbook.
Rental costs are approximately NT40,000 (~£1000) per semester for on-site accommodation. Electricity and Water bills are included.
Approximate living costs after housing and insurance are around £160-200 per month.
