Enquiry service

Our team will be available at the Help and Information Desk each day between 9.30am-5pm to answer questions about any of our services, provide support on accessing physical and electronic resources and check details on your Library account. Alternatively, you can contact us online through our 24/7 live chat service with any queries you may have.

Getting in to the building

To enter the Library while our new doors are being fitted, we’ll have a temporary, alternative entrance into Level 1 of the Atrium (East Wing), directly opposite the entrance to the Palatine Centre.

To find the entrance from the front of the Library:

  • Stand at the end of the bridge facing the main entrance, then turn to your right and follow the path around the Library building.
  • The path bends round to the right, between the Library and the Dawson Building - you will see the Palatine Centre and Chemistry entrance in front of you.
  • Keep walking along the outside of the glass Atrium of the Library on your left until you reach our temporary entrance.

Alternative study spaces

You can access study spaces in your College during the vacation period, many of which are open during the evening – check the opening times with your College or on their website.

Details of vacation opening times for all our other study space sites are on our Libraries and site information guide.
