Bill Bryson Library closure – Sunday 30 July 2023

Bill Bryson Library will close at 10pm on Saturday 29 July and reopen at 8am on Monday 31 July due to works carried out by Northumbrian Water affecting the water supply to the building. No access to the Library will be available during this period.
You can continue to access eResources through our library catalogue, Discover, and specific subject support on our subject guides. Books can still be returned via our external book drop next to the main entrance.
Our dedicated team remains available during this time through our Virtual Enquiry Desk to answer any emails, and our live chat service is available 24/7.
