Rod Taylor was an electrical engineer, entrepreneur and proud supporter of the North East, who sadly passed away in 2018 from Myeloma.
During his lifetime he founded Seaward Electronics, a global business designing and manufacturing electrical safety testing equipment predominantly in Peterlee. He was passionate and actively worked to inspire young people from the region to explore STEM careers and opportunities, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The Taylor family are proud to support the 'Rod Taylor Futures Scholarship’ programme to continue his legacy within the region.
