I enjoy my role as it allows me to interact with a wide range of colleagues from both academic and professional services departments, and also feel in some small way that I’ve been involved in supporting some of the amazing research that goes on at Durham.

What do you do?

I provide support for Rob’s award which includes discussing progress against financial and reporting deliverables, managing budgets and expenditure, financial reporting to the awarding body and ensuring that the University’s procedures are reflected in all aspects of the service provided. I also liaise with various stakeholders including academic and professional support colleagues within Durham as well as external funders and organisations.
