What do you do?

I'm Director of Affairs of Antiquities and Heritage in the General Directorate of Antiquities and Heritage (GDAH) in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq

How are you involved in this area of science? 

I have worked as a collaborator with the EAMENA team and employees of the General Directorate of Archaeology, and as a coordinator among the EAMENA and Syrian archaeologists who came to Erbil for training. 

What do you love about this topic?

The ease and freeness of the applications, it's like playing when you're looking for archaeological sites in aerial and satellite imagery.

How does this work deliver real-world impact?

The effects are in the ease and low cost when monitoring archaeological sites, especially for our archaeological sites.
