NINEDTP Postdoctoral Fellowship

'The NINE DTP (The Northern Ireland and North East Doctoral Training Partnership) is offering several postdoctoral fellowships, which are open to applicants who have completed their PhD from a UK research organisation with less than 12 months post-doctoral research experience. The fellowships provide salary for one years full time research as well as  funds to cover mentoring costs, travel and subsistence, conference attendance, training, and fieldwork.

The scheme is designed to help recent PhDs consolidate their recently completed doctoral work.  SGIA is keen to support strong applicants. Interested candidates should begin by approaching members of SGIA academic staff in order to secure potential mentors. 

 In order to be considered, candidates and mentors must submit the following documents via email by 12 noon on February 10th to sgia.research@durham.ac.uk

  • Application form
  • Abridged Case for support (maximum three sides of A4)
  • CV (maximum two sides of A4)
  • Mentor statement and summary CV (maximum two sides of A4)
  • List of publications (where cited in the proposal)
