The NINE DTP (The Northern Ireland and North East Doctoral Training Partnership) is offering several postdoctoral fellowships, which are open to applicants who have completed their PhD within the previous 12 months at a research organisation that is part of a Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) or CDT. The posts will be fixed term positions on either a one-year full-time or two-year part-time contract.
The deadline for applications to NINE DTP are typically in March every year. However, SGIA’s internal deadline is in January: the exact timeframe is specified annually, during Michaelmas term.
Candidates would be expected to submit a CV and 2-page proposal to Maria Dimova-Cookson, the Deputy Director of Research, and Lasairfhiona Swift, Research & Innovations Services.
SGIA is keen to support strong applicants. Interested candidates should approach members of SGIA academic staff in order to secure potential mentors.
