Michael Worboys: Presence/Absence (world premiere)
This concert features the premiere of Presence/Absence, a brand new composition from Berwick-based composer Michael Worboys. This beautifully contemplative new work for vocal soloists and choirs is based on chants from Zen monasteries, and focuses on the non-duality of the seemingly opposed notions of presence and absence. The concert is co-produced with Durham Vocal Festival.
