In partnership with Scott Logic and Trevelyan College, The Department of Mathematical Sciences offers scholarships to students from a low or middle income countries studying for a Masters in Mathematical Sciences. The scholarship covers full fees and accommodation for one year at Trevelyan College, and includes full catering during term time. The Global Masters Scholarship in Mathematical Sciences builds on the foundation laid by the African MSc Scholarship offered by the Department in previous years.

2. Apply to the Global Masters Scholarship itself

Most of this form is short answers, but you will need to write two longer responses (see below). You may want to prepare these before starting the form, and then copy and paste the text into the appropriate boxes.
You will also need to arrange for two reference letters to be sent to the Department at maths.postgraduate@durham.ac.uk by the closing date.
Note that your application will be assessed on the basis of academic merit, personal qualities, and the potential for the scholarship to make a difference in your academic career. Below you can find some guidance for completing the long questions.
