The UCNP project's research is presented in Madrid.

Members of the UCNP project's UK, Germany and Canada teams were delighted to present their research at three panels at the ICON-S annual conference 2024, hosted at IE University in Madrid. The three panels included researchers from within and beyond the project's research teams, and allowed members to share some of the jurisdictionally specific, comparative and theoretical research being undertaken through the project.

The three panels were:

Unwritten Constitutionalism in Comparative Perspective - Vanessa MacDonnell, Nicholas Kilford, Akwasi Osei-Dwomoh, Ruth Houghton, Diego Platz Pereira, Brian Christopher Jones.
Judicial Review, the unwritten constitution, and constitutional reasoning: comparative perspectives - Se-shauna Wheatle, Florian Meinel, Hayley Hooper, Hannah Birkenkotter, Sarah Gagnon.
Constitutional silences and competing claims of constitutional authority - Silvia Suteu, Seána Glennon, Gabor Halmai, Joanne Murray, Colm O'Cinneide, Ming-Sung Kuo.
