Justice Brian Preston Awarded Officer of the Order of Australia
Justice Brian Preston has been awarded as an Officer of the Order of Australia – the second highest level award in the General Division of the Order of Australia.
Justice Brian Preston, Chief Judge of the Land and Environment Court, New South Wales, Australia and Visiting Professor of Durham Law School and the Durham Centre for Sustainable Development Law and Policy has been awarded as an Officer of the Order of Australia – the second highest level award in the General Division of the Order of Australia.
We would like to convey our heartfelt congratulations to Justice Brian Preston on receiving this award. This esteemed recognition is a testament to his exceptional contributions to the field of environmental and climate law.
Over the past few years, he has also been a great source of wisdom and advice to many of our colleagues and our students here at Durham University.
The awarding ceremony will be held in the next few months, and the medal will be awarded to Justice Preston by the Governor-General at Government House, Canberra, Australia.
