Abstract
Xu Mo will provide insights into qualification/career arrangement in PRC China, as well as recent trends in China's M&A market. Following this, Nelson Wang will discuss qualification routes in England, particularly at DACB, and the China-related aspects of an international insurance lawyer’s practice.

With professional knowledge of the legal regimes of the PRC and the US, Mr. Xu is skilled in advising global and regional private equity and corporate clients on a wide range of strategically important transactions. This includes domestic and overseas offerings and listings, venture capital investments and formation of private equity funds, particularly those with a China nexus. Mr. Xu has acted as lead counsel in clients’ major deals, many of which involved complicated cross-border structures.

Nelson is Counsel at DAC Beachcroft, an international commercial law firm headquartered in London. He specialises in complex commercial disputes, with a focus on insurance and reinsurance litigation. As head of DACB's China Desk, Nelson oversees the firm’s legal support for Asian clients across various practice areas. He also serves as a Committee Member and Secretary of the Association of Chinese Insurance Professionals in the UK.
