Academics, arbitrators, and practitioners from diverse backgrounds will come together on 27 July 2024 at the 3rd Durham Energy Disputes Conference to discuss energy transitions and energy disputes from a state perspective.

The global energy landscape is experiencing yet another historic transformation and the states are playing a pivotal role in this significant transition. A stellar lineup of speakers will debate the challenges and opportunities faced by states as they navigate the shift towards a cleaner energy future. During this one-day conference, renowned experts will explore the legal and regulatory tools employed by states, potential energy disputes arising domestically and internationally, and the role of states and other relevant stakeholders in a decarbonizing world.
