Kyla Mullins attended HildBede College from 1984 to 1987.
She joined Clifford Chance in 1989, qualifying into the TMT department in 1991. In 1993 she joined CNN (Turner Broadcasting), before moving on to MultiChoice/Canal Plus to run the legal team launching some of Europe’s first digital satellite tv platforms. She then moved to Discovery Europe to run the distribution business and legal team. In January 2000 she joined Granada Media Group where she led the legal team consolidating ITV franchises to form ITV Plc. Kyla left ITV in 2007 and held the position of General Counsel & Company Secretary at EMI Music, Mitie Plc and easyjet Plc before returning to ITV Plc in January 2019 to take up her current role as Group General Counsel & Company Secretary.
Kyla is currently Chair of ITN and a Trustee of Northern Ballet. She was previously a Trustee of International Spinal Research.
