A joint book launch to celebrate recent publications from two academic staff in English Studies.

Professor Stefano Evangelista (Oxford) and Dr Megan Girdwood (Edinburgh) will be introducing the work of Dr Katharina Herold-Zanker and Dr Gabriella Minden. 

There will be drinks and nibbles.

Katharina Herold-Zanker

Assistant Professor, Department of English Studies

Dr Katharina Herold-Zanker trained and worked as a theatre director in Germany before completing a BA in English and Comparative Literature at Goldsmiths (University of London), followed by an MSt in English Literature (1830–1914) and an AHRC-funded DPhil at the University of Oxford. Drama, in word and practice, presents a particular focus of interest in her research.

Gabriella Minden

Gabriela Minden

Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellow in the Department of English Studies

Gabriela Minden is a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow in the Department of English Studies at Durham University. She specialises in twentieth-century literature and culture, with a focus on modernism, drama, poetry, and dance.
