  • Aerodynamics of wind farms and wind turbines, wind turbine erosion
  • Functional surfaces, droplet and free surface flows
  • Transport aerodynamics (including low-carbon options); novel propulsion systems, complex solid-fluid interactions
  • Unsteady flow induced vibrations, passive and dynamic flow control, pulsating flows, flow instability and waves, pulsatile flow dynamics
  • Experimental fluid mechanics, aeroacoustics and vehicle aerodynamics
  • Gas and steam turbine aerodynamics, novel sealing technology
