Outstanding Student Presentation Award (OSPA)

This prize was given to the top 5% of student presenters in the Volcanology, Geochemistry and Petrology (VGP) section. As the conference was held virtually this year, Madeleine was required to pre-record a presentation at home and took part in a live Q&A session held on Zoom during the conference. Madeleine was presenting her work on Fe-Zn-V isotope analysis of Australian granites that she’s been carrying out in the Arthur Holmes Isotope Laboratory within the Department of Earth Sciences over the past two years.
