At the Community Relations & Housing Unit we work alongside the Accommodation & Allocations Office in the Office of the Pro Vice Chancellor Colleges & Student Experience. We also work closely with Durham Students Union on housing related matters.

There are many activities throughout the year, and sources of information, that you can attend that will support you to get the most out of your time in private rented accommodation.

Colleges Housing Talks

College student officer teams typically schedule a housing talk in the first few weeks of term to give you plenty of time to think about your housing options before you decide what to do and where to live. Contact your College JCR, Welfare team and / or Livers Out Representative to find out when your housing talk is scheduled.
