College Bar

Our Bar is run by a Student Bar Sabbatical Officer and there are opportunities for our students to train and work here as bar staff.

The Van Mildert College bar is open on evenings and weekends and is licensed to serve alcoholic (and non-alcoholic) drinks. A range of spirits, beers, lagers, real ales, bottles and soft drinks are available. Stock is changed to cater for special events such as Oktoberfest or Christmas but the Bar is always open to suggestions from you of what you’d like to see.

The bar hosts regular events for everyone to get involved in. Every Sunday our JCR run a Bar Quiz, our JCR also host fortnightly live music at Jam Soc's Swamp Sessions, Karaoke nights (especially after formals) and regular sports showings on a large HDTV!
