When you take up University managed accommodation, you will be required to sign the Licence Agreement accommodation offer, which is legally binding. This confirms that you will live in the residence for the full academic session and adhere to all terms and conditions outlined within the Licence to Occupy University Accommodation.
Residence Fees: College accommodation charges can be found here. The Particulars of Offer that you will receive from a college as part of your Licence Agreement sets out the fees payable. Please note that insurance for your personal possessions is not included in the Residence Charge.
Accepting the Licence Agreement: To accept your Licence Agreement you must complete the £400 payment of Advanced Rent. Details of how to do and notification will be provided within your accommodation offer, informing you when you need to accept the offer by making the payment to say that you agree to the terms and conditions in the agreement. By making the payment and accepting this document you will be committing yourself to a legally binding document and to the terms of the Licence Agreement.
It is therefore extremely important that before making the £400 payment for Advanced Rent you read the terms of the Licence Agreement carefully to ensure that it contains everything you want and nothing you are not prepared to agree to.
Applicants for family accommodation at Keenan House, Dryburn Court should also ensure that they have read the Keenan House Code of Conduct before they accept the Licence Agreement.

Please note: St Chad's College and St John's College are independent colleges and therefore operate a slightly different Residence Agreement. If you are offered accommodation at St Chad's College or St John's College you will be contacted with a separate license agreement by that college. You are however still required to make the £400 payment for Advanced Rent.
