The School has appointed Dr Ian Baggett, a prominent North East businessman and entrepreneur, to join the Departments of Finance, and Management and Marketing as a Professor in Practice, from September 2023.

Assembly Room Theatre renamed in honour of former Chancellor Sir Thomas Allen
We’ve renamed our city centre venue, the Assembly Rooms Theatre, in honour of our former Chancellor and world-renowned opera singer, Sir Thomas Allen.
