In-person Paper Development Workshop

The goal of the workshop is to develop ideas and working manuscripts with the aim of later submission for review at the Academy of Management Journal (AMJ). Consistent with the mission of AMJ, submissions on all management-relevant topics, at all levels of analysis, and using all empirical methods are invited for the workshop.

The workshop features plenary and breakout sessions. Breakout rooms will be pre-assigned.

  • The workshop will be attended by around 50 participants from 24 institutions across the UK and Ireland
  • Editors involved in the workshop are:  Marc Gruber (Editor in Chief), Georg von Krogh (Deputy Editor), Denis Gregoire (Associate Editor), Anne ter Wal (Associate Editor), and Durham University’s Bart de Jong (Associate Editor, 22nd team)
  • AMJ is the flagship journal of the Academy of Management (AOM), and considered a 4*/elite journal by the CABS Academic Journal Guidelines  
  • AOM is the world’s largest professional association of management scholars, and includes 18,000 members across over 120 countries.
