Enhancing Biodiversity at Durham

Sustainability is central to our University Strategy, aiming for a net biodiversity gain by 2032. Our 2022-2023 Biodiversity Strategy enhances biodiversity across our 251-hectare Estate. 

We have been Highly Commended for the Nature Positive category in the International Green Gown Awards 2024.
