Felt artwork by Sarah Dodds

Felting is the process of binding wool fibres together to create a new fabric. This has traditionally been done using wet-felt techniques. This workshop explores needle-felting using a barbed needle to bind wool and other fibres together either by hand.

In this workshop Sarah will guide you through the steps to create a small landscape picture using hand needle-felting techniques. The pictures can be further enhanced with stitch and/or beading.
