Join us for an afternoon workshop exploring tatreez, an ancient form of embroidery in Palestinian culture.
Participants will see examples of embroidery from the Oriental Museum collection, and contribute their own embroidered pattern along with hundreds of others to create three large scale embroidered Cypress trees.
All skill levels are welcome.
The Tatreez Forest Stitching Palestinian Heritage project is part of a community effort organized by the Tatreez Collective and Arab British Centre
