Created in Partnership with the National Museum of Japanese History based on research into the Scott Collection of Japanese prints.

UNESCO Chair

Oriental Museum curators have a long standing partnership with Durham University's UNESCO Chair on Archaeological Ethics and Practice in Cultural Heritage.

The Chair is currently held by Professor Robin Coningham in the Department of Archaeology at Durham University. Oriental Museum curators have worked together Professor Coningham and his team on projects with partners in Egypt, India, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Taiwan.
