10 March 2023: Durham Global Awards
A celebratory dinner at Stephenson College celebrated and recognised all winners and shortlistees of the inaugural Durham Global Awards.

The Global Goals Summit represented Durham University’s signature youth summit, a local convening of young people who want to make a true impact on global challenges.

This free event for staff and students explored how Bangladesh, a global leader in international climate change negotiations, should balance growth and sustainability.

This free lecture discussed how young people conceptualise, visualise & practice politics since 2018 and the mobilisation of the student climate action movement.
08 March 2023: Sustainability, sustainable development & post-Indus agricultural economies of northwest India
Dr Adam Green from the University of York spoke on how northwest India's agricultural economies continued to grow after the decline of urbanism in the region.

This student documentary showed a colourful interpretation of how the modern-day Mediterranean has grown from its ancient roots. Team Q&As followed the screening.
