Throughout Easter term and the exam period, we’re here to support you with your study needs and wellbeing.

Pop-up library study spaces

During the busy Easter Term, we have arranged additional rooms to be available as pop-up library study spaces for you to use across the University campus. More details, including room locations and availability, are available on our website.

24/7 opening at Bill Bryson Library

We are open 24/7 until 10pm on Friday 31 May, giving you access to the building and study spaces whenever you need it.

We might be open for 24 hours, but that doesn’t mean you should study every hour of the day! Study at a time that works for you, but make sure you take regular breaks, plan your journey home and rest when you need to. More information is available on our Wellbeing guide.

What else we’re doing to support you

  • We restrict external visitor access to the Library during Easter Term to allow our students to have priority access to study spaces
  • You can check how busy the Library is before you visit with our live occupancy feed – if it’s busy, you might decide you want to use one of our other study space sites or pop-up library study spaces instead
  • You can book a study space in Bill Bryson Library to guarantee a seat for a specific amount of time - visit our Study Spaces guide for more information
  • Our ‘Bee Right Back’ Study Break cards are available to help manage spaces effectively and allow you to take a much-needed break for up to 30 minutes
  • We’ve planned a variety of WellBEEing activities to help support you during this busy and often stressful time - visit our Wellbeing guide for details.
