The Vernon Arms – known to all at Hild Bede as ‘the Vern’, is our bar and social area.
The Vern will be moving in 2022-23 to a location in our Hild Building but will continue to stage Open Mic, Kaorake and Quiz nights. The pool table and out two full-size snooker tables will be in easy reach.
The Vern is run by students for students and a great place for a quiet drink to meet friend or enjoy our ‘ents’. We screen events on our TV and large projector screen and often also have silent discos here.
