DREAM co-organises the Workshop in Economic Theory, in Memory of Miltos Makris (MSET), together with the Universities of Bristol, Carlos III and Southampton. The workshop started in 2013, at the University of Southampton.

The Durham York workshop takes place annually and it is a one-day event where colleagues from both Universities meet and present their research. The next workshop will take place in York on May 9, 2024.
The 4th Durham Economic Theory Conference (DETC2023) will take place on 6-7 June 2024 at Durham University Business School.
