Induction Week

Induction week takes place 30 September 2024 to 4 October 2024. You will find a timetable for the events relevant to you via your personal WoW planner page (Durham University) - coming soon. You will see that as we get closer to the start of the Welcome and Orientation week, more information from your college and the department will become available.

Term 1 (Michaelmas Term)

Teaching dates 7 October 2024 to 13 December 2024.

Christmas Vacation

14 December 2024 to 12 January 2025.

Term 2 (Epiphany Term)

Teaching dates 13 January 2025 to 21 March 2025.

Easter Vacation

22 March 2025 to 27 April 2025.

Term 3 (Easter Term)

Teaching dates 28 April 2025 to 27 June 2025.

During this term you will begin your Dissertation.

Resit Period

The resit period will run from 1 July 2025 to 15 August 2025.  A more detailed timetable will be circulated in due course.

Dissertation Period

You will work on your Dissertation from June to September 2025. Please note that students are expected to be in Durham for the dissertation period.

Dissertation Submission Date

5 September 2025.

Graduation/Congregation

Successful students will graduate in January 2026 (exact date to be confirmed).
