Dr. Xinyi Huang is an Associate Professor in Economics and Finance at Durham University Business School. She joined the School in September 2016. Prior to joining Durham, she has had many years’ both academic and industrial experience at several universities and companies such as University of Bath, University of Southern Queensland (Australia) and Zhejiang University (China).
Xinyi holds a PhD in Finance from the School of Management, University of Bath. Her main research interests include banking and regulations, financial stability and risk management, FinTech and corporate governance. She has given presentations at a broad range of workshops and international conferences. In addition, Xinyi is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
