Peter’s interests lie in strategic management which he currently teaches across the MBA, MA and undergraduate programmes of the School.
Peter joined the Business School in 1991 and his past experience includes corporate planning within the steel industry and international management consultancy. He is currently the academic director for Durham’s MBA programmes in the Caribbean and Germany.
In addition to being an MBA programme director, Peter is the module leader for MA and undergraduate courses in Strategy, International Strategic Management and Strategy and International Business. He has also been Secretary to the Board of Studies; Director of the Combined Honours degree in Social Sciences; undergraduate director and degree tutor, as well as sitting on a range of University committees.
Since June 2004, Peter has been a member of the executive of a large public sector organisation with specific responsibility for resources (including finance, physical assets and human resources).
