Biography
Bart (PhD 2010) is a Full Professor of Leadership and Organisational Behaviour at Durham University Business School (UK). His research focuses on organisational trust, teams, leadership, and creativity and innovation, which he examines through primary studies and research syntheses (meta-analyses, reviews). He consistently publishes his work in top-tier journals (e.g., AMJ, JAP, AMA, AROPOB, JOM), serves on review boards and as an associate editor of some of these journals, and has received multiple best paper and reviewer awards. Within the university, he has held various (research-focused) leadership roles at the institutional, faculty, and school level. Bart's teaching portfolio includes both substantive and methodological courses, ranges from the Bachelor to the PhD level, and includes invited teaching at the triple accredited (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA) Erasmus University Rotterdam. Prior to joining Durham, Bart worked as an Associate Professor at the VU University Amsterdam (the Netherlands) and Australian Catholic University (Australia) respectively.
