The Durham MBA (Full-time) is an intense but rewarding 12-month experience for candidates, enhancing their key business and leadership capabilities to enable them to excel in a fast-moving global business environment.
Candidates are supported throughout their MBA journey by faculty, professional support staff and also by people who have ‘worn their shoes’, our Durham MBA alumni. Each year the School’s alumni and MBA programme teams pair previous graduates with current students to offer invaluable advice, insight and support based on experience. Each year MBA students are asked to nominate Mentor of the Year.
So, it is fitting that as the 2021 full-time MBA cohort start their journey, that the outgoing 2020 students acknowledge this important relationship.
Raghava Manglik, MBA (2017) is the winner of Mentor of the Year 2021. Raghava who is a Product Marketing Manager with Amazon received excellent student feedback with his mentee.
"Raghava took time out of his schedule to guide, support and provide feedback … both from an academic and career perspective. He spoke in detail about his experience at Durham and advised me what worked for him. He was always enthusiastic and respectful.” Abhirami Kannambath.
Penny Hawley, School Alumni Manager congratulated Raghava, “Raghava’s win is well deserved and he had some tough competition with some exceptional shortlisted nominees including Travis Callaway, Harvey Leach and Michael S. Many thanks to everyone who mentors our Full-time MBA students, your contribution is fantastic and you all make it a hard decision each year”.
