Programme Delivery

The programme is delivered part-time over 18 months with a mixture of intensive face-to-face teaching blocks, virtual activities and online materials.

Face-to-face teaching blocks will be 2 or 4 days in duration (a total of 21 days across the 18 months), typically on site at Durham University Business School, with online activities between sessions.

Apprentices are also required to spend 6 hours per week of their work time in ‘off the job’ training and new development related to the apprenticeship. This will include module teaching, studying and extra CPD e.g., conferences, site visits, internal training.

Outside of the classroom apprentices will need to commit time to individual and group preparation for workshops and assessments.
