The theme for this year’s Global Week is ‘Culture – Community – Connect’ and the university warmly invites all staff, students, and members of the wider community to join in the wide range of activities taking place to recognise, celebrate and learn from the international, multilingual, and multicultural diversity that defines us as a global university.

Vision screening tool for stroke survivors

A new 15-minute assessment to screen stroke survivors for visual perception problems has been launched by our psychology researchers, working with the University of Oxford. Up to 76 per cent of stroke survivors may have visual perception problems but the majority of these currently go undiagnosed due to the lack of easy, reliable tests.
