Biography
Lynn H. Lin is a PhD researcher at the school of Education, Durham University and an Associate Fellow of Advanced HE. She is currently under the supervision of Prof Nadin Beckmann and Prof Simon Rees. She completed B.Soc.Sc. in Psychology (honours) at the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) and MSc in Information Technology in Education at the University of Hong Kong (HKU).
Prior to her PhD study, Lynn worked as a digital learning designer at HKU, mainly to explore the use of educational technologies to enrich student learning experiences and achieve learning objectives. She is also the product designer of an educational Metaverse – Curios (https://linktr.ee/curiosmetaverse). Lynn was a recipient of QS Reimagine Education ICT Tools Bronze Award (2021) and HKU Teaching Innovation (Team) Award (2020).
Lynn is interested in learners' psychological mechanisms in immersive online learning environments. Her PhD study will examine university students’ socio-emotional, cognitive, and behavioural dimensions of learning experiences under different social conditions.
