Biography
Guanyu Huo is a doctoral student at the School of Education, Durham University, supervised by Professor Stephen Gorard and Professor Nadia Siddiqui.
His PhD project focuses on exploring the educational status of internal migrant students in China, in particular whether internal migration can hinder academic success.
He is keen on using secondary data analysis to tackle matters related to educational equity and education policies, with a particular emphasis on large-scale international assessment data and demographic data.
