Family Law and Family Life: Exploring the Contours of Article 8 ECHR

Organised by Dr Andy Hayward and Dr Dafni Lima, this half-day workshop (planned for April 2026, date TBC) will bring together experts in family law and related fields to analyse the contribution of Article 8 ECHR to our understanding of family law both at a domestic level and under the Convention. It will cover topical issues relating to adult relationships and those between a parent and child and evaluate the Court's recent jurisprudence in these areas. A range of speakers will be invited that will include both established and ECR academics drawn from the UK and Europe.
