Celebrating the Graduation of Our Inaugural MSc Cohort in Physical Activity, Health and Society!
We are happy to announce a milestone moment for our department as we celebrate the graduation of the first cohort of students from our MSc in Physical Activity, Health and Society programme.
The ceremony took place on January 9th, a beautifully chilly day, with crisp blue skies providing the perfect backdrop for a memorable occasion. The graduates, joined by family, friends, and faculty, came together to mark the culmination of their hard work and dedication.
Our new MSc in Physical Activity, Health and Society was launched to equip students with the advanced knowledge and skills needed to address pressing societal challenges related to physical activity, health, and well-being. Over the course of their studies, our graduates engaged with leading academics, collaborated on impactful research projects, and learned about multi-disciplinary and innovative solutions to promoting healthier communities.
Their achievements reflect the core values of Durham University: academic excellence, a commitment to positive societal impact, and fostering the next generation of thought leaders in physical activity and health.
‘We are delighted to share this wonderful achievement of the first cohort of MSc in Physical Activity, Health and Society graduates. I know I speak for everyone in the department when I say that we could not be prouder of our pioneering class. With the skills learned during your degree, we know that you will go on to great things!’
