Anthropology is the study of humanity. As one of the largest and broadest Anthropology departments in the UK, our graduates have the opportunity to explore the full breadth of the subject and develop highly transferable skills in research, communication and critical thinking. Unusually among Anthropology departments, we offer a residential field course where students have the chance to put their anthropological training into practice at a choice of European sites, or a virtual alternative. An Anthropology degree equips you with skills and experience that are valued in a wide range of careers, including business, education, health, government and many more.
