Biography
Myrto Dimitriou is a social anthropologist, origami artist, and inspirational coach with more than 15 years of experience in designing educational programs and seminars, that over 160,000 people have attended. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Policy and Social Anthropology from Panteion University, a Master's in HR & Business Organization from Rome Business School, and has completed Business Coaching at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She holds a diploma from Nippon Origami Association as an origami instructor, and is a two-time Guinness World Record holder for creating the largest origami mosaics. Her unique approach integrates the meticulous art of origami with team-building, emphasizing in motivation, self-awareness, and operational efficiency following her interest in exploring the team dynamics and examining the impact of creativity on productivity. Myrto now focuses on exploring how emerging technologies such as AI, the Metaverse, and Virtual Reality can enhance learning and productivity in organizational settings. Driven by a profound desire to explore the interplay between creativity, productivity, and organizational dynamics, her research theme centers on the "Virtual Office in the Metaverse." As a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) research fellow in the AGORA project, she is eager to explore and contribute to the future of virtual workspaces, leveraging her interdisciplinary background to enhance organizational practices.
