From Metrics to Impact: Assessing Sustainability with KPIs in the Value Chain
For effective impact reporting and transparency, companies are increasingly seeking tools to track sustainability metrics, especially given the challenges of identifying and quantifying complex areas within their value chains. This masterclass will focus on the identification and assessment of sustainability key performance indicators (KPIs) within organizations and across the entire value chain. We will explore effective approaches, state-of-the-art methodologies, and techniques that enable companies to measure, monitor, evaluate, and report their sustainability performance. Finally, we will share best practices from real-world examples with participants.
This masterclass will be led by Dr Nail Tahirov- Durham University Business School. Guest speakers will then share their thoughts and insights from industry. We will be joined by Savita Mace, Chief Procurement Officer at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. With two decades of experience in procurement and supply across six industries, Savita brings a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing procurement professionals operating on an international scale. Yashar Ahmadov, Senior Data Scientist at Amazon, is an industrial engineer with over ten years experience in supply chain and network design and brings an alternative perspective.
This is the second in a series of Masterclasses offered as part of the launch of Durham University Business School's new two-year part-time MSc in Supply Chain Management (Executive) N2PB09 - Durham University.
