Executive Education

Our Executive Education offers a wide range of business topics to support professional development locally, nationally and internationally. We have built impactful partnerships, such as our collaboration with Boeing, which has led to a global management development programme. This partnership develops participants’ business and innovation management competences to support the ongoing transformation across the company.

In 2022, the School launched an annual leadership programme for Nissan, designed to address the company’s challenges and develop future leaders. Delegates explore key leadership themes and undertake a range of practical exercises, problem solving and reflective activities to ensure the direct application of learning in the workplace. Guest speakers from Nissan’s senior management team give delegates exposure to those setting the strategy and leading the business.

Our Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship, supported by employers such as Atom Bank, BrewDog, Coltraco, Cloud Software Group, Cummins, Faltec, Hargreaves, Nissan, Northumbrian Water, Sage, Schneider Electric, LNER, Mitsubishi, and Unipres, equips middle to senior managers from small to multinational enterprises with the skills to become innovative and responsible leaders.

Our commitment to innovation in executive education is demonstrated by our recent launch of two online executive masters programmes, one in supply chain management, the other in accounting, analytics and sustainability. They draw on academic and industry expertise to develop participants as they move forward in their careers.
